Therapeutic Yoga Instructor Yoga Alliance approved (200hr)
This 200-hour course is comprised of 2-100 hour classes and can be completed in two 10 day intensive or 8 to 10 week regular periods. An additional 10 hours of volunteer practice teaching are required in order to graduate from either Yoga I or II, as it is an invaluable tool for further developing teaching skills and also a wonderful way to give back to the community.
Upon completion of both courses, students may apply for the Registered Yoga Teacher 200 certification through Yoga Alliance.
Intensive class meets 12 consecutive days, 8 hours per day. The 12-week course meets twice a week for a total of 8 hours per week.

Skills to be learned:
- Anatomy, Techniques, Philosophy and lifestyle and Teaching methodology
- Cueing and modifications for major Asanas and Vinyasas
- How to teach four major breathing techniques
- How to teach a one-hour therapeutic Yoga class
Upon completion of training a written and practical test will be administered. The practical test consists of the student teaching a one hour therapeutic yoga class. The instructional mode is 30% theory, 70% hands-on.
