Vitality College of Healing Arts and A Better Massage Clinic is owned by. Michael Gallo, BS. Acupuncturist, CPT (Certified Personal Trainer), Godan Aikido ( 5th Degree Blackbelt, and HHP (Holistic Health Practitioner), as the director and owner of Vitality. he is on a mission to empower the community with the best alternative health education and treatments available.

Michael has a desire to bring Oriental healing philosophy to the massage community. The college now offers a 500-hour course called Oriental Arts Therapist, which will prepare the student to establish a succesful clinic/business. It is designed to teach students the basic theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. An emphasis is placed on teaching Meridians, Acupoints, and Diagnostic methods, and will include Shiatsu, Kiatsu, Reiki, and Asian massage forms such as Thai Massage.
The college continues to offer its standard Massage Therapy Program from Massage Practitioner through Holistic Health Practitioner, including Deep Tissue, Sports, Aromatherapy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, and Yoga Teacher Training. Vitality also reaches out to the local community through the Massage Clinic and with courses/workshops such as Couples Massage.

Physical Facilities
Vitality College of Healing Arts is located just south of Palomar Airport Road, on El Camino Real in Carlsbad. It is conveniently accessible to nearby freeways and bus lines, with ample parking available in the center's parking lots. The classrooms are spacious, allowing for comfort and movement, and feature large windows for an airy open feeling. We provide a library of relevant books and articles. Students may check out videos or books with a valid California driver’s license and credit card for a nominal fee. We also carry books, oils, charts, tapes, videos and other instructional supplies.
This school, the facilities it occupies, and the equipment it utilizes fully complies with any and all federal, state, and local ordinances and regulations. This includes those requirements as to fire safety and health. Copies of records of attendance and grades are kept at a separate location. These records are kept current for a period of five years. Please be advised to make copies of your transcripts and diplomas. If you need to request copies there will be a service charge.
Vitality College of Healing Arts does not discriminate regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or disability. Since many of our students are taking our courses for personal improvement, or to run their own business, we do not offer placement assistance. We place job offers on our bulletin board and offer many classes in marketing and business building skills.
Hours
Vitality College of Healing Arts is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. It is recommended that students schedule a free counseling session with the Office Staff if they would like to tour the school and clinic and receive an overview of the school and curriculum.
